About Me

I love to create, whether I’m rolling out clay on my slab table or sitting at my laptop with words buzzing around in my head. I’m most satisfied in my life when I’m creating.

Since my college graduation from the University of North Alabama with a focus on writing and psychology, I’ve had a career in finance and management, become a wife and mother, seen one of  my children through a difficult medical situation that included a lot of surgeries and therapies and helped my husband with his new business. While my life continued to move and turn in various directions, my yearning to reconnect with the arts grew stronger until one day, while I was signing my children up for baseball, art and ballet, I added myself to that list and signed up for a pottery class at Red Dot Gallery in Homewood. When I came home from my first muddy class I felt like I’d danced with the prince all night! Our garage was soon transformed to my personal sanctuary and workplace.

Thank you for taking the time to read about my work and shop through the galleries. I’m grateful for the opportunity to share my work with you!
