About My Collection

The tableware in my current collection is formed from slab. The tumblers and cups are made from slip poured into molds of various cups I’ve thrown on the wheel. One of my favorite parts of the creating process is experimenting with combinations of color and glaze techniques. My glazing style is influenced by abstract paintings and different colors and textures in nature.

The dinnerware and serving pieces are available for purchase at The Cook Store in Mountain Brook and Alabama Goods in Homewood and Huntsville, Alabama. All three stores carry serving pieces from my White Collection. From time to time, I make new shapes and glazes exclusively for each individual store and for online shopping on this webpage and on the Facebook Group, Canvas and Clay, that I share with another artist.

When shopping in the online gallery on this site, hold your curser over any image to see the description and price of the piece. You may also see prices of all of my pottery in the Price List Section. To place an order on this site, just click on the Send Gidge a Message button on the home page of this webpage or text me at 205-540-6187. The turn-around time for orders placed averages about 6-8 weeks.

I accept Venmo, Pay Pal Payments, Facebook Pay and all major credit cards. You may make your payment from the Pottery Purchase window on my home page, through the Venmo and PayPal app or pay with cash, a check or credit card if you’re paying in person. If shipping is necessary, I will calculate the shipping cost to be added to your purchase. Once your payment is received, your items will be shipped.
